TORONTO, ON AND NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) JULY 28, 2016
Lime Connect (Lime) is pleased to announce that Bell Canada has joined the not for profit organization as a corporate partner to connect with high potential candidates who happen to have disabilities.
Bell will leverage Lime’s Career Connect portal and recruitment receptions to identify university students and experienced professionals alike who are interested in exploring exciting career opportunities with an innovation leader like Bell. In addition, Bell will support and contribute to the professional development of members of The Lime Network.
“Bell is dedicated to building a workforce that reflects the diversity of all of our communities across Canada, and this includes an inclusive, equitable and accessible work environment for team members with disabilities,” says Bernard le Duc, Executive Vice President, Corporate Services for Bell. “Our partnership with Lime Connect helps us accelerate our objective to recruit from a vibrant labour pool of Canadians that can too often go untapped.”
Joe Sehl, president of Lime Connect Canada’s board of directors, says “Lime Connect is excited to welcome Bell to our corporate partner group as first-mover in the communications space. We have long admired Bell’s ground-breaking mental health initiative and award-winning programs for new grads, and they are an outstanding company that strongly complements our existing list of partners. We know that the professional career opportunities they offer will be extremely attractive to our candidate base, and look forward to the rewarding work ahead.”
As part of the collaboration, Bell is encouraging members of The Lime Network who are 4th year university students to review details of its Graduate Leadership Programs (applications launch in August), and to look for these and other roles that will be posted for Lime’s recruitment receptions in Toronto and Vancouver in early fall.
University students and experienced professionals who happen to have disabilities can learn more, and apply to Bell, by joining The Lime Network.
Canada's largest communications company, Bell serves consumer, business and government customers in every province and territory of the country with a team of 50,000 people.
