SDN Essentials to put top engineers through an intensive training program in preparation for deployment of Juniper Networks’ Contrail SDN solution
SDN Essentials (SDNE) has achieved a major milestone as the leader in providing engineers with the necessary skill-set for SDN deployments. SDNE will be running an intensive ramp-up training program to prepare a select group of highly qualified engineers for Juniper Contrail deployments. Upon completion of the training, these engineers will be ready for Contrail projects wherever they are required across the US. This effort is being done in partnership with ADEX Corporation (http://www.adextelecom.com/), an Intercloud sister company that is responsible for the staffing aspects of the endeavor.
Resources are definitely lacking in the industry, and with many SDN projects set to begin deployment, companies are realizing that traditional network engineer skills need to be drastically augmented to accommodate the rollouts of SDN and NFV solutions. By covering SDN concepts and architecture, programmability, automation, and Contrail solution specific topics, the training will enhance the accepted candidates' networking backgrounds, and they will be ideally positioned to lead a long overdue transformation of the industry.
Companies that are ready to deploy SDN solutions face a number of challenges, including understanding which solution is best for their particular situation, and once a solution has been identified, which partner to work with to deploy the solution. After years of working closely with the major players in the SDN space, SDNE is the premier partner of choice. Combined with the expertise of ADEX Corporation in identifying suitable candidates for these positions, this partnership will allow scaling of resources to where they are needed most. SDNE is in a prime position to take on this challenge, due to its relationships with major SDN solutions vendors, as well as its in-house expertise in identifying the areas that legacy network engineers need to augment to be successful with SDN deployments.
It is an exciting time in the Networking Industry. This event hails the true beginning of the SDN transformation, and Network Engineers who receive this training will be primed for success as the networking landscape is completely transformed in the coming years.
"We are very excited about the return on our investment in the partnership with SDN Essentials. This new contract award is an endorsement of the strategic nature of the relationship and the power of our combined teams value to a large networking partner." says Scott Davis, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
“Excited to work with Juniper, ADEX and Intercloud to fill SDN projects. These projects required a skills transformation and investment into the future for all parties.” says Doug Marschke, Chief Technical Officer.
