FREEPORT, ME. (PRWEB) MARCH 30, 2016
Internationally recognized outdoor retailer L.L.Bean, best known for its Bean Boot, everyday free shipping and 100% satisfaction guarantee was recently named by Forbes magazine as America’s Best Midsize employer, topping the list for 2016.
America’s Best Midsize Employers in the U.S. 2016 were chosen based on a survey conducted by Statista, one of the world’s largest statistics portals, from a vast sample of 30,000 American employees working for large or midsize companies with between 1,000 and 5,000 employees. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer was used as the most important metric of assessment, where employees were required to rate their employer on a scale from 0 to 10. L.L.Bean scored 9.50. In 2015, L.L.Bean was ranked 5th place in Forbes’ overall list, which included large and midsize companies.
“To be recognized by such a well-renowned institution like Forbes is an incredible honor and the direct result of the culture we foster, which empowers employees to do their jobs, take great pride in the work they do and understand how their contributions impact our overall success as a nationwide leader in the retail industry,” said L.L.Bean company president and CEO, Steve Smith. “Without our employees’ remarkable talents, dedication to the L.L.Bean brand and unwavering commitment to offering world-class customer service, we just wouldn’t be the same company we are today.”
