AUSTIN, TEXAS (PRWEB) FEBRUARY 24, 2016
Schoox, Inc., a global e-learning cloud-based company providing the most modern mobile training platform for corporations and franchise organizations plans to expand its footprint and expertise in the corporate market by acquiring Atlanta-based Learn.net, Inc. The deal, subject to final shareholder approval and expected to close in the first quarter of 2016, will give Schoox access to Learn.net industry expertise and customer base, and provide Learn.net customers an accelerated platform upgrade opportunity to Schoox’s Collaborative Content Management System (CCMS).
Schoox has redefined Learning Management Systems (“LMS”) with its highly intuitive, social, mobile interface. Schoox has delivered over 5 million video lessons, 25,000 video lectures in a single day and serves over 1 million users in over 110 countries.
“With the current growth rate, a new user joins Schoox every minute” says Campbell ‘Cam’ B. Lanier III, Schoox Chairman of the Board and Chairman of ITC Partners Fund. “Our acquisition of Learn.net and their enterprise customer base is a logical addition of both valuable customers and significant domain expertise.”
The Learn.net executive team has more than 100 years of experience with enterprise communications and pioneered the interactive distance learning industry through startups like Convergent Media Systems, OneTouch Systems and Savant Technologies.
Kenneth Leddick, Learn.net’s CEO sees the planned acquisition as a true win-win for all parties, especially Learn.net’s existing clients. “Schoox’s deep engineering expertise and vision for a contemporary communications and training medium driven by mobile and social media will provide our clients – big and small – with exciting upgrade opportunities. The Schoox platform is extremely user-friendly, flexible and offers functionalities beyond what we currently offer our customers.”
All Learn.net customers will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to the innovative Schoox platform.
“With our Learn.net partnership, we are continuing to build an LMS with a comprehensive social learning, knowledge sharing, content and talent management platform. With our open API design and the end user experience in mind, we have delivered everything the corporate and franchise customer has been wanting for years,” said Lefteris Ntouanoglou, Founder and CEO of Schoox.
Schoox was designed to have the easiest user interface, so any individual and any type of business can get started immediately. However, the mobile, social, gamification and reporting features with the scalability that large corporations demand are what continues to drive Schoox’s exceptional growth.
One of the greatest compliments to Schoox’s user friendly design is the implementation of a recent online corporate training platform with 540,000 users, 44,000 locations in 110 countries in a record breaking 30-day implementation without a single employee training session required.
After the acquisition, the Learn.net team will remain in place to support customer expansions and upgrades to the Schoox platform. Learn.net customers will enjoy Schoox’ best in class support, and benefit from their well-funded investments in ongoing product development.
“Together, we will serve the largest franchise organization and the largest retailer in the world along with numerous small to medium businesses across retail, restaurant, manufacturing and logistics industries,” said Lefteris Ntouanoglou, Founder and CEO of Schoox.
