The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Lori A. Almeida as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in human resources. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

A trained Attorney, Lori Almeida took on a second role at a nonprofit as the in-house Human Resource Specialist. Inspired by this role, she decided to work in human resources full time.
“My background in law means I am able to quickly synthesize information,” Ms. Almeida said. “I am also familiar with legal requirements in all of our areas of operation.”
In her current role at Siegel+Gale, a global brand experience, design and strategy firm, Ms. Almeida collaborates with the company’s senior leadership to hire and retain the best talent for their offices in the US, EMEA and Asia. “I really enjoy meeting people new to the workforce, helping them shape their career paths, then watching them follow it,” she said.
Before joining Siegel+Gale, Ms. Almeida was Director of Human Resources for Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, a law firm in New York City. She held that same title at Merkley + Partners, an advertising agency. Earlier in her career, Ms. Almeida was Director of Human Resources at ABC Carpet & Home.
