As HR analytics –for employee wellbeing, engagement, motivation and more – becomes increasingly important for organizations, many practitioners still find analytics difficult to understand, let alone apply and link to organizational strategy.
Available on 3rd March, Predictive HR Analytics by Martin R Edwards and Kirsten Edwards provides a clear, accessible framework with which to understand and work with HR analytics at an advanced level to improve a company’s bottom line. It takes HR professionals through examples of particular predictive models, from employee attitude surveys, diversity analysis and predicting performance to recruitment and selection, predicting turnover and monitoring the impact of interventions.
Josh Bersin, industry analyst and principal and founder of Bersin by Deloitte, has provided advance praise for the book, saying it ‘is a comprehensive and detailed guide for any professional interested in this exciting new field. The book will help you understand what data to analyze, how to interpret and analyze the data, and how different types of models work’. Similarly, Professor Binna Kandola OBE, senior Partner and co-founder of Pearn Kandola, has declared that ‘[d]etailed, precise and clearly written, this book isn't just about statistics; it's about the future of HR. Essential reading for everyone in HR’.
