Background screening related to employment pre-screening and post-employment retention as well as background screening of prospective residential and business tenants is a necessity. I have been surprised at the amount of employment applications where arrest histories, past addresses and past bankruptcies were ommitted. I have also had residential tenant applications that didn't list multiple prior addresses in a short time span, which is a flag, and business tenant applications that didn't list prior liens and/or bankruptcies. All of these ommissions could be a reason for a potential employer or landlord not to proceed further.
