Now users can submit time-off requests, as well as schedule requests, from any mobile device. This added convenience means no longer having to log in to the full ScheduleAnywhere web site to communicate requests to managers.
The new mobile time-off request feature allows employees to submit partial or "all day" time-off requests from any mobile device. Time off spanning more than one day can be submitted in a single request, saving time. When a request is submitted, ScheduleAnywhere instantly notifies the appropriate manager. All requests need manager approval. Once time off is approved, any shift that conflicts with the request is automatically removed from the schedule and available for other staff to work. Employees can also submit general schedule requests to their manager with the new mobile app. Requests can be to cover open shifts, swap shifts, request additional hours or overtime, or to communicate changes in availability.
