New York, NY (PRWEB) November 18, 2015
IMG GlobalSecur (http://www.theimg.com/), a leading international security consulting firm, has announced a bulletin concerning tips for international travel security and executive safety in light of the recent tragedy in Paris, France. The company has also just announced a demo program for its FoneTrac travel security app, which is highly relevant given today's need to consider current travel safety concerns, FoneTrac provides position-locating, periodic check-in and emergency alert options for the user.
"The tragedy in Paris is an unfortunate wake up call for corporate executives, VIPs, and other high-level business travelers. Accordingly, we are issuing a tips bulletin on executive international travel security to our blog.," explained Chris Hagon, CEO of IMG GlobalSecur. "In addition, our new FoneTrac travel security app brings new digital connectivity to assist with executive travel security and safety needs."
To read the bulletin, please visit the blog at http://www.imgsecurity.net/paris-attacks/. To learn more about the company's travel security app, please visit http://www.fonetrac-go.com/. There, at the bottom of the page, one can sign up for more information or a demo of FoneTrac.
Bulletin Highlights
The bulletin makes the points that in the aftermath of the Paris attacks French security is on high alert. This, combined with resource constraints facing terrorist groups, makes it less likely that immediate problems should arise. There is, of course, no certainty. Second, travelers are advised to stay alert and avoid large crowds or public gatherings, which can be targets. Finally, to some extent, existing security protocols had an impact on the Paris events. This is explained in more detail in the bulletin.
More on FoneTrac: a Travel Security App for Executives
FoneTrac is a personal travel security app that bundles overseas employee monitoring and check-ins with a medical security app as well as overseas security information alerts for the user. While used for everyone from students living abroad to regular employees, it has many useful features for executives and senior VIP's. For example, it provides instant access to international travel assistance as well as medical assistance in countries as diverse as Germany, Brazil, and Iraq. Secondly, it has automated check-in functionality, and business travelers can also receive automatic overseas country-specific security updates. If in harm's way, they can send smartphone travel panic alerts or get travel security assistance with the touch of a button. While not a prevention tool, the app is a useful response system and location alert.
