CHICAGO (October 5, 2015) – Yello, the leading web and mobile recruitment software, services and consulting company, announced today that Yello Scheduling, the company’s advanced interviewing scheduling functionality, has been selected as a Top HR Product of 2015 by the editors of Human Resource Executive® magazine.
Each year, the Top HR Products contest honors the best new products in the human resources space. The editors of Human Resource Executive evaluate each submission and product demonstration based on several key factors: the product’s level of innovation, value added to the HR function, ease of use and ability to deliver what it promises. Based on these criteria, Yello Scheduling was designated a Top HR Product of 2015, highlighting its ability to transform this key aspect of the hiring process.
“Human Resource Executive has been evaluating the most cutting-edge products to emerge from the HR industry for more than 25 years, designating the best of the best as Top HR Products of the Year,” said David Shadovitz, editor of Human Resource Executive. “The winners of this year’s competition demonstrate a high level of innovation, while providing intuitive solutions that transform how key HR processes are done. Through its innovative Yello Scheduling solution, Yello represents excellence in HR technology by enhancing this crucial step of the talent acquisition process and helping users evaluate and hire the best talent more quickly.”
Yello Scheduling enables recruiting teams to improve the candidate experience and secure top talent faster through automated interview scheduling. Candidates simply select a time that works best for them from the recruiter’s or hiring manager’s schedule, and they receive an automatic confirmation of the date, time and phone instructions or location and logistics of the appointment. The solution is further complemented through live video interviewing capability. As a result, when in-person interviews cannot happen or could be too cost prohibitive, candidates and interviewers can meet from their webcam, smartphone or tablet, without any special equipment needed.
Additional features of Yello Scheduling enable employers to automate scheduling for all types of interviews, whether career fairs, campus recruiting or phone interviews, and for one-to-one, one-to-many or event-based interviews. Users can also immediately confirm interviews with personalized emails, send automated reminders and allow candidates to schedule or cancel without disruption.
“Setting up interviews has traditionally been a time-consuming – and frustrating – process for our recruiters and candidates alike, but Yello Scheduling has transformed it into a streamlined, automated function,” said Stephanie Pallante, associate vice president, Global College Recruiting for Aramark, a Yello client. “Rather than investing a great deal of time and resources just coordinating interviews, our recruiters can easily connect with candidates and spend their time more constructively to find the best talent. I’d recommend the solution to any company looking for a simple, intuitive approach to address the age-old challenge of scheduling interviews.”
“Employers face a number of challenges as they strive to build a qualified and highly effective workforce; however, there’s no reason why the interview process should continue to be a roadblock in delivering on this goal,” said Jason Weingarten, co-founder and CEO of Yello. “Yello Scheduling gives recruiting teams the tools to streamline the often outdated interview scheduling process, enabling them to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time focusing on their candidates. We are honored that Human Resource Executive has recognized the strength of this solution and thrilled that it has been named a Top HR Product of 2015.”
Yello will be recognized for this achievement on Monday, October 19, 2015 during the HR Technology Conference & Exposition taking place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
