Appleton, WI (PRWEB) October 27, 2015
Launching a new video series on its website, Cypress Benefit Administrators aims to help educate employers on strategies for containing the rising costs of employee benefits.
The third party administrator put this series together based on presentations and panels – featuring multiple professionals and leaders in the self-funding industry – from its annual Cypress University conference held earlier in 2015.
With all spots filled, the two-day educational event was attended by clients, brokers and vendor-partners who learned about savings strategies and solutions related to health care plans. According to Tom Doney, president and CEO of Cypress, the information captured in these 11 videos is valuable for any employer.
“These days, so many companies are being affected by escalating employee benefit costs and looking for some how-to help for controlling expenses,” he said. “Cypress hopes to give employers a place to start by educating them on some factors that can contribute to climbing prices and strategies for managing them.”
A Highlights reel kicks off Cypress’s new video series, and the topic-specific presentations include:
Prescription prices/cost management
On-site and near-site medical care
Pricing and quality transparency in health care
Patient advocacy
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) management
Captive insurance options
Online enrollment and private exchanges
Along with these presentations, the video series includes three interactive panels that cover the latest developments in stop-loss insurance, along with vendor-partner program and Cypress client success stories.
“When we surveyed Cypress University participants, they said the number one reason they attended the event was for the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and standards in self-funding,” Doney said. “The series provides a nice overview of where things are at in the industry, and we’re happy to share this information as a resource for employers everywhere.”
