Business app discovery site GetApp has released its Q3 ranking of the top 25 cloud-based Applicant Tracking software solutions. Topping the Q3 GetRank are Greenhouse, Workable, and CATS.

The GetRank scoring system is based around five data points collected from GetApp and external sources. Ranking factors include user reviews, integrations, social media presence, mobile support, and security. GetRank is updated every quarter and adjusted based on newly available vendor data.

GetRank aims to make it easier for business buyers to find the best software to serve their needs when choosing an HR application, including Applicant Tracking.

Applicant Tracking is used by HR professionals to better manage the entire recruiting process - from applicant searching to screening, interviewing, and hiring. The solutions allow the user to manage large amounts of applicants by sorting and filtering filters based on pre-defined filters. Applicant Tracking is often found in larger HR software suites, and is part of a growing trend towards the storing and management of human resources data in the cloud.

The Q3 Applicant Tracking GetRank is accompanied by GetApp’s free industry research report, HR in the Cloud: Key Trends for 2015, which identifies some of the key trends in HR software. The report highlights the emergence of analytics within HR apps that allows companies to accurately predict employee behaviors.
