Alelo Announces Breakthrough Solution That Closes the Gap in Workplace-Readiness and Competency Training

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) October 28, 2015
Alelo has released an employee-development breakthrough that allows private and public organizations to provide all their workers with highly effective, affordable workplace readiness and competency training.
Live coaching can be very effective but its high cost typically limits it to executive training, and is seldom offered to workers who must develop their competency in areas like sales, customer relations, leadership, team management, and fostering innovation and creativity. Self-paced courses based on software, videos and websites are less expensive than live instruction, but not very effective, and often boring and not engaging.
The Alelo® Workplace Coach closes the gap between the superior results of live coaching and the low cost per employee of self-paced instruction. It accomplishes this with computer-based courses that immerse workers in personalized, life-like situations that use interactive role-playing scenarios to teach effective communication and collaboration across generations, cultures, mindsets and organizational levels. The system is grounded in multidisciplinary research in computer simulations, artificial intelligence, distance and mobile learning, pedagogy, and social science.
Dr. Lewis Johnson, Alelo’s CEO, explains, “We have moved to the next level of the learning and workforce-development revolution started by e-learning 20 years ago. The methods and technologies behind our Alelo Workplace Coach provide significant cost and performance advances compared to existing solutions, making it possible to deliver superior, affordable competency training to employees at all levels of the organization. The end-goal is, of course, to help them quickly reach and maintain the highest possible level of productivity.”
The Alelo Workplace Coach is an evolution of Alelo’s computer-based courses that have trained tens of thousands of personnel of the armed forces of the U.S. and allied nations on communicating effectively and safely with the local populations of over eighty countries around the world. Remarkable results include entire battalions of U.S. Marines returning from Iraq without a single casualty because Alelo’s courses taught them how to build trust and rapport with the general population of Iraqis around them.
“Alelo’s commercial products incorporate the same objective demanded by our military customers for learning highly effective interpersonal communication skills in the shortest possible time at a very low cost per student,” explains Dr. Johnson. “All of our customers want personnel who can immediately start applying their newly acquired skills when it counts. The main difference between Alelo’s military and nonmilitary solutions is their work context.”
ABOUT ALELO INC.
Alelo’s mission is to help workers learn to be more effective where it counts. The company’s products are education and training breakthroughs grounded in proven pedagogy and social-science research that teaches effective communication and collaboration across generations, cultures, mindsets and organizational levels. They use a virtual role-play technique in which learners play different roles in computer simulations of real-world conversations, without risk of failure from making mistakes. It encourages learners to play both sides in a conversation as a way to become more adept at perspective-taking. Perspective-taking is the ability to understand a situation from the perspective of another person.
