GuideSpark Achieves Exceptional Growth in 2014,
Prepares for Equally Successful 2015
Company Reports Doubling Customer Base, Increasing Staff and Opening Two New Offices
MENLO PARK, CA —January 27, 2015—
GuideSpark
, the leader in employee communications and engagement, announced today the results of its stellar performance in 2014. Over the course of the year, GuideSpark achieved significant growth as more organizations sought the company’s market-disrupting employee communications platform, designed to create an engaging experience for today’s busy employees.
In 2014, GuideSpark more than doubled its customer base, which now includes more than 500 customers representing almost eight million employees. The company saw the strongest growth among larger, enterprise-grade companies and now counts nearly 15 percent of the Fortune 500 among its customer list. Further, GuideSpark videos were consumed by people in 130 countries, representing 66 percent of the countries across the globe.
To accommodate this rapid growth and maintain its high level of customer service, GuideSpark expanded its staff, more than doubling its team to 200 employees. GuideSpark’s dedication to exceptional customer service was illustrated by its outstanding Net Promoter Score of 62, measured in December 2014. The company also opened two new offices, in Boston and San Francisco, and expanded its headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.
“Traditional communication strategies, such as manuals, brochures and seminars, often leave employees confused, frustrated and uninformed. GuideSpark’s goal is to help companies reinforce their connection with employees, and we do this through voice, brand and other features not available on paper. In this way, GuideSpark helps companies drive a deeper connection with their employees,” said Keith Kitani, CEO of GuideSpark.
Over the past year, GuideSpark also made significant product enhancements, evolving its platform with improved tracking and richer analytics. It also introduced a collaborative point-and-click online review tool and a self-service portal to help employers launch, promote and measure the success of employee communications. Additionally, GuideSpark doubled the number of topics in its comprehensive library, making it the largest customizable employee communications content catalog. And to better serve its diverse client base, the company now offers videos in 20 languages.
Capping off its highly successful year, GuideSpark received industry recognition through several high-profile awards. These include:
Ranking #270 overall and #22 amongst its peers in the software category in the Inc. 500|5000, based on its strong revenue growth
Inclusion in the 2014 Red Herring Global Top 100
Being recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Most Promising Companies
Named as the #6 Best Place to Work in the Bay Area by The San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal
“GuideSpark’s rapid year-over-year growth, product innovations and real-time, data-driven platform position us well as we continue to reinvent the employee communications marketplace,” said Kitani.
