TAMPA, FLORIDA, USA, 25 November 2014)  – International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) announces the extended deadline to submit an application for the 2015 Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) Program to 6 February 2015.
The Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) program the premier global awards program recognizes the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry’s accomplishments in facility design, construction and operation, while sharing the development of new applications of technology and cutting-edge approaches that it is adopting.
 “With the overwhelming response to the FOYA program and its showcase at the inaugural Pharma EXPO 2014 in Chicago, IL this month, the society felt extending the deadline would give companies more time to prepare and submit their award-winning projects,” said ISPE President and CEO John Bournas.
Projects selected for these prestigious awards set the standard for pharmaceutical facilities of the future by demonstrating excellence in Project Execution, Facility Integration, Innovation, Sustainability, Process Innovation and Operational Excellence.
“The society and its leaders are looking forward to celebrating the shared commitment and dedication of individuals working for different companies worldwide to enhancing patient health and safety through innovation and advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing technology in the 2015 program,” said Bournas.
