Everything You Need to Know About Voom's Makeover
You¬タルve heard the exciting news¬タヤthat Voom is getting a makeover¬タヤbut what exactly does this mean for you? Here¬タルs a quick overview of all of the important things you should know in order to get the most out of your Voom experience.
Signing In
When you first sign in, you¬タルll be prompted to set your settings, take a Health Assessment, and launch Voom. If you¬タルre already using Voom for PC/Mac or Voom for Web, just click continue to browser. Be sure to answer your Health Assessment as accurately as possible, as you¬タルll be using it as weeks progress to track how you¬タルre feeling.
Your Dashboard
Next, you¬タルll be directed to the Dashboard where there are several new measures of your usage. You¬タルll be able to check out how many active minutes you¬タルve accumulated, how many breaks you¬タルve taken, and how close you are to reaching the optimal goal number of 6 breaks a day. You can also check out what your Health Score is (a measure tabulated from the answers you give on your new ¬タワHealth Assessments¬タン and how much you use Voom), as well as what badges you¬タルve earned and where you stand on your network¬タルs leaderboard. Your profile has some additional stats too, like the best Voom day you¬タルve ever had. Try to beat it!
Notifications
In your top level navigation, you¬タルll be receiving notifications every time Voom posts a blog. We work really hard to keep our blog full of interesting and useful health information. By reading the blogs and keeping up with our healthy reporting, you¬タルll be able to enhance your experience, and your health, that much more. Read a blog, or three, and earn more points and badges! (This Notification icon is also where you¬タルll see any new badges that you earn and where you¬タルll be prompted to take your weekly Health Assessments. So be sure to pay attention if a message awaits.)
Settings
The Settings icon at the top level navigation will bring you to the page where you can control any of your personal options including enabling or disabling certain videos, purchasing, renewing, or canceling your subscription, and setting the timer for your reminders!
Your Voom "Work-Outs"
The next thing you may notice is the new way we¬タルve titled the video breaks. We want you to know WHY we¬タルve included each of the kinds of exercises that appear in Voom. It¬タルs not only about back pain relief or getting more movement throughout the day. Stretch It Out, Tone It Up, Take A Breath¬タヤeach of these ¬タワWork-Outs¬タン was designed for the many benefits they provide in short two minute intervals at your desk. We¬タルre currently hard at work on two new ¬タワWork-Outs¬タン too, so keep your eye out for new fitness focused and yoga-inspired exercises coming from two of our newest experts.
Explore a Little
If you so choose, this new update doesn¬タルt have to change your relationship with Voom. You can still get your reminders and take your breaks without focusing on all the bells and whistles. However, if you have a few minutes, we really suggest you get involved with what¬タルs happening on your Dashboard. The techniques we¬タルre using to present you with data, track your progress, reward your successes, and foster some friendly competition are all known and proven to increase people¬タルs use of health and fitness programs, and in turn get you healthier!
Get In Touch
If you have any questions at all about how any of this works, please don¬タルt hesitate to reach out to us at any time. Just fill out our Contact Form, and a Voom team member will be happy to help you out. We hope you¬タルre as excited as we are about these new features¬タヤnow Get Vooming!
