Smith Debnam Welcomes New Attorney Firm expands family law practice with new hire
Smith Debnam today announced the addition of Leslie Underwood Marion to the firm’s Family Law practice area. Marion will represent clients in all matters of Family Law, including divorce, and child custody. Marion earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law and received her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in Finance from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining Smith Debnam, Marion worked as an associate attorney at a law firm in Selma, NC. She has held various internships in both the public and private sectors, including the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Secretary of State.

Narron, Smith Debnam partner and head of the firm’s Family Law practice. “Leslie impressed us while still in law school and taking part in the Smith Debnam summer associate program. She has an impeccable work ethic. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her as a member of our team.” Narron has been a partner with the firm since 1987, and one of the original group of 31 lawyers across the state recognized as a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the North Carolina State Bar.
