I know what you are thinking..
Not another email! If you are like most people, you are getting hundreds of emails – so how do you break through the clutter?
Here are 7 things to do to make your email metrics improve - Really!
1. Make it relevant. Relevancy is key. Open PDF to find out how.
2. Know your customer - and you and your employees are not your customers. Internal focus groups are as valuable as what you pay for them. ZERO. Start talking to REAL customers.
3. Segment. Every person is unique – and some more so than others! If you don’t have customer segments, you don’t know your customer. Go back to Step 2.
4. Don’t use SPAM hot words. The ISP’s are getting vigilant – and they keep changing.
5. Use a reputable Email Service Provider –and size can matter. Relationships with the ISP’s can help with unintentional spam issues!
6. Keep it short. Need I say more?
7. Night-time is the right time – really. Send it in the late evening or overnight – it works. Open PDF to see why.
Face it – no one is going to get 100% open rate or anywhere close, so don’t expect it. But it’s never too late to make your emails more effective.
