Last week was Oracle’s annual conference “OpenWorld” held in San Francisco. This year, Oracle held a separate conference exclusively for HCM and from the feedback I received, the event was a great success. The event was busy with announcements of new upgrades to Oracle Cloud Release 7 and both customers and Oracle staff were beaming with excitement.
There were many updates that are listed in the link, here are some of the highlights:
Deep Social Integration: integration of socially enabled applications across internal and external networks.
Oracle Workforce Reputation Management: helps HR discover, mobilize and retain talent by providing insight into employees’ social reputation and influence.
Centralized Performance Feedback: managers and HR can now add comments to talent pools, succession plans and talent profiles/
Integration of talent profiles with LinkedIn
Support Offline Talent Reviews: Managers can now complete performance reviews offline giving them greater flexibility in their schedule.
Talent Review Dashboard: HR benefits from a more holistic and robust view of their talent pools.
