Any remote worker will tell you there are ups and there are downs associated with not attending an office regularly. Our recent survey of some 120,000 workers across the world shows exactly what they are: almost half (47%) of telecommuters feel that remote work makes them more productive. However, more than half (55%) feel that productivity gains are tempered by lost opportunities for collaboration. Balancing these two sides of the same coin is likely to be the key to a happy, productive and collaborative remote workforce into the future.
