WE SPEND WAY TOO MUCH TIME AT WORK TO BE DISSATISFIED; YET 55% OF US ARE
    Heather Dranitsaris-Hilliard
Stop blaming your boss & learn how to satisfy your innate needs at work

Toronto, ON: November 29, 2012 - What’s wrong with this picture: only 45% of Americans are satisfied with their work and only 51% find their jobs interesting. Most blame their circumstances or their boss for how they feel. We now understand that career dissatisfaction is the direct result of our innate needs being frustrated. The latest brain research, combined with century old personality theory allows us to understand these innate, hard-wired needs so we can make career choices that will allow us to get these needs met.

There are 8 distinct psychological needs; each with its own set of behavioral patterns that seek to get the need met. One of these eight will be your predominant need – in essence the alpha that most influences you. When your predominant need is frustrated at work, it leads to complaining, disengagement, stress and blaming of others. However, when you choose careers or roles that allow you to get your need met, your satisfaction increases and you feel empowered to take on the challenges that work presents.

“Too often, we tried to figure out what we are meant to do without really knowing who we are. We look for outside ourselves for answers that can only be answered from within. This approach is the main reason why so many are dissatisfied at work, afraid to show who we really are and live to our full potential.” – Anne Dranitsaris, Creator - Striving Styles Personality System

As long as more than half the working population is dissatisfied at work, anxiety, depression, absenteeism and low productivity will be the norm. It doesn’t have to be that way. With what we now understand about the mechanics of our minds, people can easily gain the insight and tools necessary to live authentically and get the career that meets their innate needs so they can thrive.
