Step two. ADD VALUE NO MATTER WHERE YOU WORK OR WHAT YOU DO.

Prepare to be an entrepreneur no matter what you do. You have to sell your way into every challenge. Ultimately, the only thing you have to sell is your added value. HOW DO YOU ADD VALUE?

(1) Get a whole bunch of work done (accomplish tasks in a timely competent manner or deliver an existing product or service),
(2) identify a problem that nobody else has identified,
(3) solve a problem that nobody else has solved,
(4) improve an existing service or product, or
(5) invent a new service or product.

Key point: Don’t underestimate number one above - it is by far the most readily available (and often most appreciated) opportunity to add value. Wherever you go, sell your added value.
