“K&K True Value Hardware is our educational sponsor for this year’s event,” said Todd Ashby, Managing Partner of Results Marketing and organizer of QC Leadercast, now in its third year in the Quad-Cities. “Thanks to the generosity of K&K, we will be able to send 10 National Honor Society students to Leadercast. The event is about conveying leadership qualities every day, and these are great lessons for the students to learn before they enter adult life.”
QC Leadercast 2012 will be held 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 4, in the spacious auditorium at Harvest Bible Chapel, 3800 E. 53rd St., Davenport, IA.
Ashby noted that the event will feature a big-screen broadcast of 10 acclaimed speakers, discussing leadership issues we all face in life. “The Chick-fil-A Leadercast is a one-day event which will be broadcast live, May 4, from Atlanta, Georgia, to 600 metro areas worldwide, including the Quad-Cities,” he said. “Quad-Citians can watch that live simulcast at QC Leadercast 2012.”
“We are proud to be able to help these young people to attend this important event,” said Hannah Keller, Marketing Manager of K&K True Value Hardware. “These students will gain important insights that will help them throughout their personal lives and careers.”
“This is an amazing opportunity for the 10 students, ranging from sophomores to seniors, who will be in attendance,” said Kelly Turner, Rivermont Collegiate English teacher and National Honor Society Adviser. “The knowledge these students will take away from the speakers on Friday will allow them to not only enhance the skills they already possess, but become more aware of and effective in their choices.”
Rivermont Collegiate is a private school for students, preschool through twelfth grade, located in Bettendorf, Iowa. Rivermont students come from many Quad-City area communities. Results Marketing and K&K True Value Hardware are also located in Bettendorf, Iowa.
