    Preface:
    As in any institution, a lot of people/employees are involved to perform different jobs /activities and every body have his/her particular back grounds so it is very much possible that there could be any action relates to the offense /crime, if there will be particular policy to handle such situation, the rate of the offense could be control and every situation related to the subject could be handled with out unnecessary delays/hesitations or wrong decisions.

    To make a compressive policy some parameters should be defined which are as under,

    When any employee will be commit a crime within the premises of organization, what was the situation/back ground this is very important because some time we are used to see the things which are present in the scene and thus we can neglect the reality and real culprit can get the advantage and could be safe from the conviction which could be a cause of any other crime, so every matter should be handle with full professional approach with out haste to find the reality behind.

    History

    To save the organization/employees from the crimes / criminals the police record checking is also very important, HR can ask the expected employee to attach a police clearance certificate with the letter of acceptance for joining the duties, similarly in other institutions, like universities/ colleges, the management can ask the candidate for the same before joining the class.

    If any employee have criminal record or any candidate having the same and his life/performance is according to the standard, i.e. a person convicted in any minor crime 10 years before but after that his social record ,professional record or academic record is good then he could be considered after necessary debriefings and police clearance.
    Similarly, if any employee/candidate committed a crime when he was minor or pardoned, above mentioned procudre could be help out to handle the matter.

    Criminal record /information are regarded as secret and will be unconfined only consistent with appropriate law.
