    DEFINITION AND PURPOSE OF POSITION

    The position of Manager IM exists for the purpose of maintaining MIS services within AL-IKHWAN GROUP . The incumbent is also responsible for undertaking improvements and up-gradation of computer/software systems to cater the requirements and information needs of AL-IKHWAN GROUP management.

    NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION Reports to Chief Executive Officer

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     Formulate annual business plans covering extent of services to be provided, men and machines requirement and geographical operational areas.
     Monitor actual performance vs. plans and take corrective actions.
     Determine the needs of hardware and software support and provide assistance in determining configuration based on need.
     Keep abreast of emerging new technologies, facilities and operating systems and adopt a consistent strategy within AL-IKHWAN GROUP .
     Provide technical as well as operational support to the end users of MIS services.

     Monitor the operations of the MIS services in AL-IKHWAN GROUP .
     Ensure timely measures of troubleshooting of PCs.
     Train and develop staff of various departments in order to ensure effective and efficient use of all hardware and software.
     Ensure maintenance of proper backup of all financial, operational and other computerized data.

     Maintain liaison with the hardware and software vendors.
     Ensure the use of licensed software in AL-IKHWAN GROUP .
     Keep the inventory record of all computer equipment of AL-IKHWAN GROUP .
     Perform any other function/task as and when assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

    Qualification

     Post Graduate qualification

    Experience

     At least 5 years experience in the related field. Should have experience of managing and administering such departments efficiently.

     Simple decision making within policy guidelines involving impact on area under direct control.

    Policy Formulation Skills

     Participate in development of policies involving areas under direct control.
