A recent survey by the BBC revealed that the world’s fastest-rising worry is unemployment!
Eleven thousand people in 23 countries took part in the survey. They were given a list of concerns and were asked which ones they had talked about with friends and family lately. Closely following unemployment was corruption and poverty.
The top country where unemployment was discussed the most was Spain. Spain has the highest youth unemployment rate in Europe. In the US, France, and Japan, the world economy was the most talked about topic, while in Nigeria, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Nigeria and Peru, corruption was talked about the most.
