Technical Debt – Just Put It on My Tab
Presented by Jeremy Ames, HRIP of Gaucho Group.
February 08, 2012 (12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST) Regarding the new system you installed, the data you loaded, or the change you made to your existing system, did it create a future cost for your organization? In those types of scenarios, it’s a question that is typically ignored in the haste to service employees and company executives. This webinar will educate attendees on the key concepts of technical debt. What is it, and what decisions and actions lead to it increasing, or in some cases it spiraling out of control? Who are the main culprits that cause technical debt to rise? What role does the HRIS software company play in technical debt and how does that differ among vendors. And how do you measure the cost? Most importantly, participants will begin to learn how to manage technical debt, and even how to decrease that which has already been created. The future viability of the organization may be partially dependent on getting your technical debt under control – this webinar is a start in the right direction. Who Should Attend
Any HR or IT professional that makes decisions about, funds, or executes on technology changes.
