    Job Description

    Create the overall strategy and implement an integrated talent management infrastructure and framework to support the organization. Specifically lead the alignment of culture, talent and organizational design to support Day & Zimmermann's strategic goals. This includes the areas of talent assessment, development and retention; talent acquisition; leadership development; succession planning; performance management; OD&D and diversity systems. Provide grounded HR and OD expertise, serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Leaders that provides insightful observation, act as a change leader and support the business by driving results.

     

    Talent Management / Leadership Development - Design, develop and lead high affect talent management / leadership development processes and programs to improve the depth and diverseness of talent. Collaborating with business and HR leaders develop and execute an incorporated approach to development, employee training, and leadershp development. Provide proficient consultation on all phases of talent management such as succession management, assessment, talent

    pipelines, selection processes, workforce planning, etc. Support an aggressive learning and development process and program designed to build leadership talent and successors at all levels of the organization. Link talent acquisition, development / training programs and diversity initatives to the annual Strategic Planning. Assure the appropriate connection of proposal and delivery methods, education and development programs to business.

     

    OD&D - Leverage organization assessment and design models to contribute to the design and implementation of new organization strategies and supporting structures. Working with HRBP and business leaders assess development needs, performance gap analysis, and leadership skills and capabilities needed to support their structures.

     

    Performance Management - Oversee the Performance Management and feedback processes helping to ensure high performing teams. Direct the development and deployment of tools and processes that support the performance management process. Lead and execute the needs assessment for training, development and other talent solutions to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance.

     

    Talent Acquisition - Oversee the corporate talent acquisition department and incorporate activities into talent mangement goals. In partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition and business leadership, develop human capital plans to identify and plan for talent needs by organization and location and implement / measure those plans.

     

    Diversity- Build and manage diversity inititatives across the company such that it supports Day & Zimmermann's value of diversity and inclusion. Incorporate diversity education into leadership development.


    Desired Skills & Experience
    •Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience in talent manegement, organization development/business effectiveness theories, processes, and methodologies
    •Strong project and process management skills
    •Strong training and facilitation skills with effective verbal and written communication skills.
    •Ability to analyze service deliveries and create strategies to improve results.
    •Ability to provide HR solutions against critical business needs.
    •Graduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; Ph.D. in Organizational or industrial psychology a plus.
    •15+ years relevant experience
    •Certified trainer in one or more Talent Management or OD programs
