BlueVolt (www.BlueVolt.com), the leading provider of online learning management systems (LMS) for the manufacturing, construction and service industries, has partnered with Embassy Group Ltd. to launch Embassy University (EU) for its distributor members in the Plumbing, PVF and HVAC industry.
The new Embassy University, powered by BlueVolt, gives Embassy Group’s distributor members a competitive advantage in the marketplace by allowing them to participate in high-quality training from Embassy’s premiere vendors from any location, at any time.
Current courses offered include product training from leading manufacturers such as IPS Corporation, Taco, Inc. and White Rodgers. Additional vendors will add courses in preparation for Embassy Group’s annual conference in March.
Embassy Group’s online training initiative is an extension of the organization’s existing training program, which ranges from in-person seminars to providing printed learning materials to its members. Leveraging BlueVolt’s latest technologies to enhance and improve learning, Embassy University will allow the organization to provide a consistent message to a large, targeted audience and track the results of their knowledge retention.
“In a world of cloned products, persuasive images and new technology, independent wholesalers are still rich in human resources,” said Wally Gumm, President of Embassy Group Ltd. “And providing the necessary training and support for those human resources is more important than ever. The new Embassy University, powered by BlueVolt will allow our members to access the best training in the industry. And BlueVolt’s proven reward system provides incentives for our members’ sales personnel to become even more engaged with our manufacturers’ product training.”
Embassy University integrated with BlueVolt’s leading Learning Management System (LMS) technology provides unsurpassed elearning and marketing capabilities – including powerful reporting available on demand and via email. This reporting feature allows Embassy Group’s Member leaders to see who at their organizations are most engaged with the program and who may need additional support.
Embassy University learners can also participate in BlueVolt’s $BlueBucks™ reward system, a virtual currency users earn for successful learning with redemptions accepted at hundreds of name-brand retailers and service providers.
“BlueVolt is proud to support Embassy Group’s transition into online training with our latest technology and best practices in elearning,” said Chad Hoke, vice president of sales and marketing for BlueVolt. “Embassy University will provide members access to world-class training wherever and whenever they need it, which will translate directly into increased sales.”
Embassy Group has also partnered with the American Supply Association (ASA), a not-for-profit national organization serving wholesale distributors and their suppliers in the same industry, to integrate Embassy University with ASA’s own online university. This will benefit their shared distributors, who can now seamlessly participate in the online training courses offered by both universities powered by BlueVolt.
