As a result of health care reform, employers will be required to make changes to their retiree health care programs. Hewitt Associates surveyed 245 U.S. companies to see what changes they planned to make to their retiree benefits strategy in response to the new legislation.
Hewitt found that 61% of respondents are evaluating changes to their long-term retiree medical benefits strategy in the next 1-2 years.
