I would have failed the career motivation test if it had been in use when I joined KPMG,” says Rachel Campbell, laughing. “And I might not have joined, had I known what the first four years would be like.” Campbell, HR supremo at Big Four professional services firm KPMG, chose accountancy, she says, mainly because she wanted to come to London. A Geordie by birth (though you’d never guess it from her accent), she had just graduated in politics and philosophy from Durham University.
