    Fake Job Reference Services

    Are you tired of applying for jobs? Tired of sending out resumes without any response? Are you frustrated because employers are not contacting you for interviews and you are feeling overwhelmed in your job search? …. This is a lead in on the website www.fakeresume.com that will snare the weary, frustrated job seeker to go with their services. What are some of the services they offer? How to fill the gaps in your employment history, foolproof methods to add experience to your resume, the best way to get fake references, how to get college transcripts from any university with any GPA you want, what to do if the job you are applying for required past W-2’s….and the list goes on and on.

    Here is another “great” website touting help to the weary, frustrated job seeker ; www.careerexcuse.com. Their header? You choose your career history, you pick your start and end date, you choose your salary, we provide a real company for you. We provide a real website for that company, we provide a real “800” number, and again the list goes on and on. Some of the other advice they provide? Bankrupt companies make a great previous employer and we have created a management company with dozens of bankrupt companies that are ready to provide any inquirer your desired reference information.

    Now, take your human resource department and put them to the task of doing the background checks for people that you are going to consider offering a job to. Yea, I mean that HR person who has probably also had their department downsized (or right sized) – and they are therefore assuming the duties of more than one person. Add to that the background check where they call employers, references, schools, etc. Now, chances are they MAY have done this a time or 2 – and they have expectations on what the answers are that they should receive. How thorough is your background check going to be? Your HR person made the call, accepted the responses, and forwarded the info to you as the hiring manager. Are you going to hire that candidate?

    Now, lets rewind the tape here and say that you outsource your background checks. You have 4 candidates that you are considering for a position. You send over the 4 applications and let your professional screening company work with it. They start comparisons. They have established guidelines on where to call to get verification from that large company, they have information on who to speak with at the college to verify the degree, and they have a pretty good idea about what companies outsource their verifications to third party services. Maybe they know that a college listed on an application is what is referred to as a diploma mill. Maybe they know that several divisions of IBM are out of business, but still know how to obtain those employment records.

    Websites like those mentioned above are popping up daily. Why take the chance of making a mistake?
