IIM-A may rejig norms for perfect 'placement'
The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), will revamp its campus placement process as it seeks to trade headline-hogging salary offers with jobs tailored to a student’s long-term career growth. The coveted Slot Zero — first day of the campus placement season that’s earmarked for marque recruiters, most of them being investment banks — would also be extended to several days, giving both recruiters and students more time to interact and discuss the roles on the offer.
