    Compassion, mindfulness, playfulness and hope are the four<br />
    qualities of an effective leader according to Dr. Richard<br />
    Boyatzis. He argues that managers must learn how to<br />
    regenerate themselves before they can expect to get the best<br />
    out of others. According to Boyatzis, the single most<br />
    important action managers (and their staff) can do for<br />
    20 minutes a day is to revitalise themselves by doing some<br />
    form of yoga, meditation or prayer to a higher purpose.<br />
