    Investment bankers are rejoicing that M&A activity has heated up in the technology sector. Dell is acquiring Perot Systems for $3.9 billion, Cisco is acquiring Tandberg for $3 billion and Adobe is acquiring Omniture for $1.8 billion. There also have been several sub-$1 billion deals: VMware acquired SpringSource for $420 million and Intuit acquired PayCycle and Mint for $170 million each.
