Philip A. Berry, President of Philip Berry Associates, LLC, has joined the RW Consortium, an alliance of nationally known experts in multigenerational multicultural leadership and communications training.
Philip, who previously held roles at Colgate Palmolive as Chief Human Resource Officer for the European Division and VP of Global Emplyee Relations and Corporate Officer, will add addtional strength to RW's suite of courses which are designed to resolve conflict, promote teamwork and engage global staffs to hit stretch goals for competitiveness and profitability, according to Bob Hoberman, President of Executive Search and Training at RW Consulting Group, the Consortium's parent company.
"Philip has worked in most countries in Europe and Latin America, speaks four or five languages and has deep knowledge of local cultures. all major assets to what we are building," Mr. HOberman noted. "He has, of course, worked extensively in the United States, as well as many Asian countries."
Philip, who has been honored by women's, Hispanic and Asian American groups, was listed in Crain's Magazine as "one of the 100 most powerful Blacks in New York." He is simultaneously Vice Chairman of the Board of Trsutees of the City University of New York and Vice Chairman of New York Mayor Bloomberg's Panel on Education.
Philip joins Paul Anovick, Steve Hanamura, Christina Santiago, Jon Bittmann and Jiangli Zhu as a key consultant and trainer at the RW Consortium . The Alliance was formed by RW in August in response to a growing corporate need to support expanding domestic and global diversity challenges in which the four age groups in the workforce are intertwined with multiple cultures.
