FedEx shed upwards of 10,000 jobs globally over the past year in response to weak demand and declining revenues.
The Memphis-based company's annual report said FedEx ended its fiscal year May 31 with more than 280,000 team members, compared with more than 290,000 on May 31, 2008. Revenues were down 6 percent, to $35.5 billion, for the year. more http://tinyurl.com/p9vts9
