Port Colborne native heading Canadian Forces recruitment in Toronto

A Port Colborne native is now the commanding officer of the Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre in Toronto.

During a July 14 change of command ceremony, Maj. Hans Kissmann took on his new role from Lt-Cmdr. Michael Wood.

The ceremony was overseen by Commodore Daniel MacKeigan, Commander, Canadian Forces Recruiting Group.

"The Canadian Forces provides opportunity, training and support like no other and as a result of this I have had opportunities and experiences beyond my expectations," Kissmann said in a news release
