    SaaS vs. On-Premise Software
    Chris Arringdale
ReviewSNAP was recently asked by Capterra to give them a list of features or benefits of a SaaS program for their buyers guide. There are advantages to both types of software, but it really boils down to the needs of the company. If you are considering using a SaaS program rather than an on-premise program you will need to ask yourself the following questions:

. If implementation of the software is required how long will it take?
. Is it possible to integrate your product with on-premise software?
. Is the SaaS program compatible with both Mac's and PC's as well as all browsers?
. Is the SaaS product more affordable than on-premise software?
. Is your SaaS product secure?
. What steps are taken to ensure security of your data?
. Is the updatecycle for the SaaS program shorter?
. Can upgrades can be made at anytime?
. Does the SaaS program allow for product evolvement and customizing code?
. What is the payment structure for the SaaS product?
. What tech support does the SaaS product offer?
. Will it fit the needs of any size of company?
. Does it have a good data backup and retrieval strategy?

How you answer these questions will determine whether or not a SaaS program will fit the needs of your company.
