Along with a new year, comes new hope, new promise and new chances. As the New Year breaks, we are suddenly overflowing with a new sense of power, energy and excitement. The New Year gives us a chance to start fresh, anew, from scratch. To forget the past and delve into the magnificent promises that the New Year has to bring, and to take on challenges and conquer, to rise above mediocrity, make a change in our lives and strive for excellence.
Creating New Year’s resolutions means different things to different people. Everyone does it at relative scales and has different levels of achievement. Nevertheless, one thing I realized when researching the resolutions that people make is that most of us have common goals and ideas of how we would like our lives to be. It just goes to show that we really are not that different from one another. We all want to live in a better world, we all want to be the best version of ourselves and we all want to enjoy the lives we are leading.
