Before joining Verified Person, Dobbins served as controller for the Spinal and Biologics division of Minneapolis-based Medtronic (NYSE: MDT). There, his 16 years of hands-on leadership helped drive the company from a $12 million startup in 1992 to the $3.5 billion company it is today.

During his time at Medtronic, Dobbins provided financial guidance and strategic leadership for forecasts and industry trend analysis. Dobbins is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
