Business Training Library recognized the outstanding achievements of OPERS' leadership development initiatives with the Leadership Development Excellence Award. OPERS is Ohio's largest pension system, providing secure retirement benefits to thousands of members. Partnering with Business Training Library in 2004, OPERS set out to create an e-learning program for its managers and leadership team that would foster skill development and brainstorming, as well as coaching and strategic growth. They hired a consultant to conduct blended learning sessions, and remained committed to their employee development goals. As a result of their efforts, OPERS has made great strides in building their leadership and management teams, and facilitating strategic communication that has a direct impact on overall business objectives.<br />
