    Effective Training Methods
    Manishankar Chakraborty
Training and Development play a very important role for the growth of any organisation. In spite of all companies spending huge sums on T&D, the results are somewhat not commensurate with the spending. If one try to analyze the reasons, there can be various reasons-
    (1)Lack of Training focus
    (2)Improper Training Need analysis
    (3)Absence of novel training techniques
(4)One size fits all approach and not a customized presentation and the like............There can be many other reasons for the failure of the training programs. I could identify some reasons on the basis of my understanding as a management trainer and consultant..........and the most important of all is to adopt new ways for training away from the routine classroom or pure on job mode.My thoughts on a blended learning approach where classroom training is mixed with e-training has provided many solutions to the aforesaid problems.
