The war for talent is a tangible fact of organizational life. Every day organizations struggle with having the right talent, at the right time, and in the right place to move the strategic business goals of the organization forward for today and tomorrow. However, one critical issue remains the number of People of Color in key leadership roles seems to be absent in many organizations today. underway to develop leadership skills for People of Color to sufficiently handle the challenges of leadership?
Changing demographics and the increased numbers of People of Color in salaried positions has created more questions than answers in how to address this growing challenge appropriately. Human resource professionals need to seek out creative and innovative ways to address these challenges, make the results quantifiable, and show how these developed leadership skills will create value differentiation for shareholders, improve profits, and provide a reasonable return of investment.
