    SkillSoft Acquires NETg from Thomson Corporation

    <p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="Arial"><span>What does SkillSoft<font color="navy"><span>’s</span></font> acquisition of rival NETg mean for corporate training customers and the market?  With a majority of large to mid-sized companies using courses or other learning resources from one or both companies, this deal will have an impact on thousands of customers and their employees worldwide.  In addition, the acquisition represents yet another significant consolidation in the corporate learning market, which is growing in both size and prominence as changes in workforce demographics and talent shortages begin to have significant business impact.  </span></font></p>
