Payroll Service to the world…among other things
    Martha Watt

I just had an assignment: 400 words on the next phase of implementation of recommendations on a recent compensation review: Outsourcing Payroll Services. I love these spot tests: half an hour to get the basics of an organizational initiative, and shift into ‘achieve buy-in’ before the bell goes. I’m hoping to have pulled off a solid B (which would be good, I think.)

Just then, what comes across my desk, but the latest newsletter from Karvy. Heard of them? India’s largest integrated financial services provider, reads the banner. Yes: for real. This is a most enlightening tome.

I'd like to suggest you take a look for yourselves. Sections from management concerns – the how and the why of outsourcing. Then the staff issues (always good to know when getting involved for the first time) are featured. Next, they post a case study. I liked the tourist blurb on the marble Jain temples.
Navigation is top down, and most articles are face front (or fully displayed). Any difficulty in navigation is made up for in the content. I don't have much information from India, and only some from Europe, so I like to pass on the information sources. Information is always good.

I wish that I’d had read this before the test, but I still think I did ok. Check out the Karvy Global Services Review at: http://www.karvyglobal.com/newsLetter/Nov2006/index.
