At our annual Employers of Excellence National Conference being held October 24-27th in Las Vegas, HR.com will be formally launching several new initiatives, enabling our 135,000 members to showcase their expertise, grow our community and rate their experiences with HR.com and their partners. Many of these features will actually launch over the next 60 days.
Some of the exciting changes are:
More Content focused on Member contributions and best practices.
- Sharing of Best Practices: Enabling our community to share their best practices: Our members will be able to add content, power points, Request for Proposals (RFP´s), and blogs to our site directly. No longer will HR.com be the industry expert. YOU ARE. We are encouraging our members to share their best practices with the audience. Sharing of industry best practices is the single most important factor when building an online community of HR executives - whether the content be in the form of business plans, RFP´s contracts, sample manuals, or forms all will be accepted directly to the site, linked to a member profile and searchable for our all our members.
- More content: Opening up more content to our members including access to all powerpoints, podcasts, Thought Leader and Reality HR/Best practice webcasts. Essentially all content will be available to registered members.
- Content Ratings: Our members will also be able to rate the quality of the content and top-rated content will be distributed weekly in our targeted newsletters. Ratings of articles will be focused on social bookmarking sites del.cio.us and digg as well as our own internal rating system. This will enable the sharing of the best content with the rest of the HR world.
- New Webcast package: In an effort to elaborate on industry trends and best practices, we have made our webcasts even easier to use and more affordable. For as little as $1,200 per Webcast, sponsors enjoy a turnkey solution that includes all webcast technology, a transcribed article on the webcasts, access to an archived version of the webcast and distribution of a podcast on HR.com as well as our partner Audible.com, and access to HR.com´s membership of 135,000 registered users who are invited to attend the Webcast.
- Podcasts Available: With over 450 podcasts currently available, HR.com expects to add an additional 600 podcasts and webcasts this year. In a relationship with Audible, we will be able to serve targeted advertising to these podcasts based on user demographics.

- Free Forms and Templates: Once again a popular area for our members, this section of our site is being updated with the current forms and templates available for free download, to be customized to any organization.
- Vendor Consultant Directory: This new directory lets HR executives find top suppliers quickly. Members are asked to contribute to the user community of each of our listing partners and contribute comments, tips, and user feedback to help other HR executives make the right decision when working with third party suppliers.
