10 Tips for Blogging Success

If you are looking for a bit of insight on the best methods for promoting your blog - recruitment or otherwise - Guy Kawasaki, managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, author, columnist for Forbes.com. and Apple Fellow is worth listening to.

While perusing Guy´s blog archive this morning I happened upon one of his past entries called The 120 Day Wonder: How to Evangelize a Blog. As someone who is new to the blogging world I found his advice very straight-forward and practical. If you take a minute to look at the content, the links, and the technology he embraces you will see that he is on the leading-edge of best practice blogging. He even points to one specific example of how a supplement to a posting he made on recruiting yielded some valuable advice for those chartered with interviewing candidates (see #6 on the list).

Blogging is fast becoming an effective sourcing, screening, and branding tool for the recruitment function. And Guy´s advice on blogging can help you and your recruitment team put the tool to good use.
