    Preventing Sexual Harassment

Economic sexual harassment occurs when a supervisor or manager conditions an employment benefit or continued employment on the employee´s acquiescence in sexual behavior. Hostile environment sexual harassment occurs where sexual jokes, graffiti, suggestive remarks, cartoons or sexually derogatory comments create an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment.
