America’s Got Talent contestant, Mandy Harvey, added to roster of Speakers for Leadership Excellence and Development Forum (LEAD2018) in Salt Lake City.

HR.com has announced that Mandy Harvey, award winning singer, songwriter, America’s Got Talent contestant, and motivational speaker, has been added as a keynote speaker for LEAD2018 in Salt Lake City on February 7th.

Mandy Harvey is an accomplished singer and songwriter despite her hearing disability. A Vocal Music Education major at Colorado State University, Mandy lost her residual hearing in 2006-2007 at age eighteen due to a connective tissue disorder that affected her nerves and caused her to leave the program. Though her hearing loss is profound, her timing and pitch are perfect and, combined with her passion for music, she has defied all odds of being a successful musician.

In 2011, Mandy won VSA’s Top Young Soloist Award and lived a personal dream of performing at the Kennedy Center in DC. She continues to perform around the United States and has been recently featured on NBC Nights News, Canada AM, The Steve Harvey Show, and the Los Angeles Times. In addition to performing and speaking, Mandy has become an ambassador to both No Barriers USA and Invisible Disabilities Association with a mission to encourage, inspire and assist others to break through their personal barriers.

"Mandy will be sharing her journey of pursuing her passion despite the obstacles she faced. We are looking forward to hearing her inspirational story and being moved by her music when she entertains us at the LEAD conference this year," stated Debbie McGrath, CEO and Chief Instigator, HR.com.

In addition to Mandy Harvey, the following speakers are confirmed for LEAD2018:
    - Michel Chikwanine, former child soldier and activist
    - Andy Fastow, former CFO of Enron
    - Frank O’Dea, co-founder of Second Cup Canada
    - Shannon Scott,  LBGTQ and Human Rights Activist
